Hi Parents,
Wow, we are already on the letter 'I' and 'i' and it's sound. We have several activities, crafts, books, and songs planned this week that reinforce this sound and recognizing the letter. We are also working on our emotions, and other ways we can handle being mad. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Everyone has done wonderful so far this year! One of the most interesting things we have done is squish grapes with our feet! (Like I Love Lucy) All of our craft and art projects have turned out very cute, and the kiddos have fun with them!
Mrs. Helen, Mrs. Mellissa, and I thank all of the parents who have been making donations to our classroom and working with their children at home; it really makes a difference for each child in our classroom.
The occupational therapist will be continuing from last year, her name is Linda Thornton, and she will be here on Thursdays. We also have been assigned a physical therapist. Her name is Irma Johnson, and she will be in our classroom on Thursdays as well.
I would also like to post a reminder about August 27th, preschool will not have class.
